What makes you think that?
Can you give more details

I kind of do but my other remote job is a business I own.

Why wouldn’t you want to be honest or give your employer a honest days work?
If the roles were reversed?

Is it?
Or the archaic idea that someone needs to have their arse in seat in an office for 8+ hours a day to accomplish the same 2.5 hours of actual tasks?
Oh I see where we're going...
Let's do this. I can do my job in 2 hours a day. Let's just cut the work week down to 10 hours.

Those like you who are automatically dismissing the idea of “more work” aren’t looking at it the right way.
With one job all your eggs are in that basket, so there is more stress to do the best you can to keep that one job and keep moving up in your job. With 4 jobs, all in the $55k salary range, your mindset turns to just simply keeping the jobs. You don’t care about rising the ranks or impressing anyone, and hey, if they do fire you so what? You have 3 other jobs. It’s more like a high-paying challenge than traditional work life. How little can you do and how quick-thinking/creative can you be to make it another day?
It’s like Catch Me if You Can.

My employer’s goal is to maximize profit and they will do whatever they can get away with to maximize profit. Am I not allowed to do the same? If they don’t like the work I provide they can fire me.

I'm not wired to be just good enough to hang on.

You can probably do this with two, tbh. I searched reddit about this topic in the past, and seems to be mostly computer science people do it.

4 jobs is absurd
2 you could pull off, especially in IT. I know this because we had an remote IT guy doing it. He confided in another co-worker, later threw co-worker under the bus over some snafu, and of course that person then goes and rats him out.

Yeah, we Trumpsters should just act civilly, like the liberals, and accept an election's results. EVERYBODY knows the democrats worked with the prior administration to help Make America Great Again and did not try to sabotage the USA with constant violent riots and destruction and pandemic exploitation.

Based on what? Besides having a nice setup as a white collar worker almost all work from home jobs are customer service related.

I know a guy that did it. He is a boomer and eventually got busted because he called company 1 from company 2's land line after an on-site, and they asked why caller ID had the competitor's name showing.
duh........
duh........

I guess you'd have to be really careful with Linkedin profiles and social media too. Also, what's the resume look like when you're applying for the second full time job? Write it up like normal then just never quit the first job?
