The doc didn't discuss the NOPD angle.
She just hired a few off-duty NOPD cops as protection. Like you can do if you have a party. Here my HOA does it for block parties.

Guy working for printer company fixes printer and asks to be paid. Doc offers him narcotic prescriptions. Guy says he needs to actually be paid with money. Doc goes in the back. Cop comes back up front and hands the guy scripts saying, “I suggest you take these scripts and leave.”
That’s a tad more than just blindly working a security detail. That is being complicit.

This is just my opinion, but I doubt anything happened to them. They could have been working as off-duty security. If so, as far as they are concerned, all they knew (without evidence to prove otherwise) was that they were working security for a private clinic. There really isn't anything illegal about that.

Are you saying the NOPD was officially involved with Cleggett's practice and Marlon or Pennington were sending deputies to protect her business.
The documentary didn't say that they were involved and no charges were brought against NOPD.

Dan Schneider mentions the owner of Bradley's Pharmacy as Mr. Claude several times. Do you happen to know Mr Claude's last name?
Back in the early '80s, I knew a guy at Southeastern named Claude who's father was also named Claude and ran a pharmacy in 'da Parish. Super nice guy, but was constantly fricking up largely because of drugs.
