I stopped going when they quit letting people do to-go boxes. What's the point if I have to eat with the mutants in the restaurant?
Back in the 90's though, it was bliss. Sweet hot wings, fried chicken livers (which they also quit making) and corn maque choux. The rule was as long as I could close the box, I was good to go.

Visited my parents in Lafayette this weekend. It's not open at all, there was a huge fire there a few weeks ago. My parents live near the Oil Center and UL and that was my go to spot for a long time.

i hope you're right...but i've seen this posted on fb in a few lafayette-centric groups, and when the people posting it are asked where they heard this, they all say they saw the picture that i posted and assumed it was true
