I am keeping up with the "Bill Projection" feature on the Entergy site.. And it is telling me that I have used $30.33 over the last 7 days with projected bill of $129.96 as of now..

Got mine, set a record for my house easily, up 20% from last month and last month was as high as I’ve ever had

How is it that so many people here are surprised by the most expected shite ever?
Posted on 7/6/22 at 7:28 pm to The007
It wasn’t the surcharge though right? That was a small proportion of my bill. I compared my bill to previous ones, the cost per kwh is double? Why is that?
It was like $.33/kwh last june vs $.66 or something this june. I probably am off by a decimal and maybe wrong power units but I remember those numbers.

I have a house no one lives in, not using any Elect. r gas. House is for sale, my bill was $30 now $170.WTF

Mine just posted.
Right at $300 w/leveled billing included…
Also, a $38 “storm restoration” charge.
Tbh, I was expecting it to be more.

This is why I live in the boondocks on the NS, no Cleco, no Entergy, no BS extra charges for a storm that comes around that had zero impact on myself other than several days without electricity.

You are not going to escape the increased cost. Regardless of who your provider is their cost to produce or purchase electricity has increased significantly, and it will be passed down to their customers sooner or later.

Member when the mouth breathers said Enterty has the cheapest ‘lectric in the country and implied those Entergy/Cleco rates would stay the same forever, so solar net metering wasn’t worth consideration?
Seriously, jump down your local PSC’s arse and tell them to push 1:1 net metering for solar. Entergy has been avoiding upgrading the grid for years. They were finally mandated to. Think they’re paying that shite out of their pocket? Nah fam, you are.

I never understand these threads. If you think entergy is overcharging you, buy their stock to offset.
