Blue Store Chicken is delicious. I also like to say there’s crack in their fried rice because it’s that good. If they branch out to Lafayette, I won’t be disappointed.

So he has a net worth of $12,000,000 per store? Okay

Canes stores do an average of 6-9 million a year in revenue.

$12M valuation per store sounds about right.

Foosacklys tastes better.

It not only tastes better, but the pieces of chicken are bigger, and the prices are lower.
Their service is also excellent.

Foo is better and it’s not really close.

He didn’t get a nickel from me. I can walk to Canes from my house, but I’ve never been. Tried some at a party once and found it okay.

I’m glad others enjoy it. It’s good for my medical sector mutual fund.

It's insane how fast the franchise grew. Dude must've taken out billions in loans. I remember in maybe 2004 Shreveport got their first Cane's, then like 6 years later I went to a Baylor basketball game and they had Cane's stickers everywhere. My cousin from Waco was like What is Cane's? Then 5 years later they were in every state, then 5 years later in dozens maybe 100 countries.

That doesn't sound right. 9 mil divided by 365 days divided by average $15 spent per order divided by 12 open hours a day means 136 customers an hour. Cane's isn't doing average 136 customers an hour. If you do $7.5 mil in rev, that's 114 customers per hour, or 2 every minute.

Even if you raise it to say average order is $20 per order. That's 102 customers per hour.

That's a customer every 30 seconds. At 12 PM or 7 PM in hot locations it might be a customer every 30 seconds, but no way averaged out across every store across every hour, it's that.

Isn’t he going to be a guest judge on that Shark Tank show?

A contestant should show up with a Canes-like business plan and gauge his response.

Or a contestant should take all of the complaints levied against canes from this board and make that presentation. Plump chicken fingers with a mustard based tiger sauce with seasoned breading that doesn’t dry out, a cat for a mascot, diet Lemonade and diet sweetened tea, grilled chicken options, to go food served in a cardboard box instead of styrofoam, etc. You could maybe throw in a functional ice cream machine to serve shakes and ice cream to add to your customer check. The Franchise is called OT Chicken.

I think the success comes from the sauce. The sauce is what separates Cane’s from all other fried chicken slingers
