I had trouble finding a good feed out of Bama until I landed on Spann.

He’s legit.

Yeah, he's an awesome guy too. Makes his rounds to high schools, does presentations. I met him a few times in high school.

Can't fricking get in touch with her now. I'm sick.

Most likely scenario is that the cell towers were knocked out or jammed with so many calls coming in and out.

No active tornado warnings at the moment, but the cells near Heflin in the west and Villa Rica in the west could be troublesome.

Villa Rica cell is the one that went through Jacksonville IIRC.

It's probably just failed and/or overwhelmed communications. Hope you hear from her soon.

I'm seeing 122 kts on the lead edge of that one. Of course, the beam is in the air so the winds are lower at the ground. Still going to be rocking some huge winds for those in the path.

Thanks guys. Judging from the reports, I'm hoping that it missed her building by a mile or so. She's about a mile and a half south of JSU. My mind is going crazy though not being able to get in touch with her.

She was on campus during the Tuscaloosa tornado in 2011, and dodged that one by about a mile or so.

I had this earlier with my grandsons in Russellville. I wanted to vomit but a few hours later my wife text me and said they were safe.

Give it some time, bruh.

Things must be bad in Jacksonville with the request for help from anywhere that can get it.
