Looks like NWLa is gonna get the bow echo rather than the super cells.

Weird day.

The bow echo is very distinctive. Should get where I am in about an hour.

Here’s video of the first tornado in Arkansas. Hate to say it but the dumbass speed up while hauling a brand new trailer. Supposedly they were hurt. And it’s a Facebook link.

Meh, most of these people have no clue what the general direction is on a particular tornado.

Tornado chasers are killed, so expecting Joe Q Public to figure it out in Arkansas is probably unrealistic.

It's a hell of a line though. Popping 100 kts on my lowest tilt in places and a few rotations. Those returns look like a light show for you with a few stout wind gusts.

All the "fun" of a severe weather event without the shitty hail or tornado pick up.

Yeah, we have been told for a few days we were gonna get supercells in NWLa.

I’ll take a squall line with a possible weak spinner all day over super cells as long as that bow isn’t pushing 60 or 80 straight lines.

There was a tornado warning issued for Caddo just West of Greenwood. But looking like it fell apart as soon as they got the warning out.

Yeah I don't see the tornado on radar but there are some impressive winds rolling in. It's not the worst thing in the world to have a tornado warning on it, despite the actual tornado part being questionable.

Pretty prominent velocity signature along i20 near the river moving into Bossier. Not a big atorm but it's standing out on the maps.

I thought at first the "moving northeast at 95 mph" was a typo in the warning.

I’m not a weather expert, so if anybody can tell me around what we should be expecting about an hour south of Baton Rouge, in assumption parish, that would be awesome

Had one pass over me about 30 minutes ago. Pretty hairy. Had the wife and kids ready to take cover. The trees were laying down back and forth. Top 3 close call here.
