Mandeville Police Dept just posted video taken half an hour ago of Lakeshore Drive. Completely flooded and water coming over wall. Was expecting that to be the case more so yesterday afternoon/evening not today!

It should make sense the coastal flooding has become a bigger issue today. As the storm went south of us, we caught winds out of the east. Now that it is to our west, the winds have shifted out of the south.

They are used to it. That little bar on Lakeshore and Girod floods all the time.

BR and NO are in the dry air sweet spot right now.

Actually, there's some serious training going on in the area. Prairieville getting hit hard with no sign of stopping.

I'm perfectly relaxed. Thanks. But the training shows no sign of letting up soon. Won't cause a problem. Just making a statement.

Relax.

I drove through that. Spots storms/showers. More consistent rain will start falling in BR as the storm starts to move east/NE and we start catching the SE part of the circulation (which it seems like it is starting to do at end of satellite loop).
