So hypothetically speaking, if someone you know was leaving Houston to drive to New orleans wednesday around 2pm, how much of a shite show do we feel the weather would be?

Sorry yall - just getting into this thread. What is the timeframe for (potential) bad weather beginning for Nola and BR areas? Sifted through a few pages and must have missed it.

130p Monday - Folks, can't stress these two points enough:
1. Please don't focus on exact numbers when it comes to rainfall forecasts. The highest amounts are extremely difficult to pinpoint and locations could shift. The attached image helps highlight that all of southeast LA and southern/coastal MS will see at least some threat of excessive rainfall.
2. Because this system is disorganized, even if it tracks to the well to the west of the local area, a lot of the moisture would still end up along the northern Gulf Coast, so heavy rainfall looks likely almost regardless of where the center tracks.

I know this is minor compared to real problems caused by weather, but the weather has not been kind to my daughter's rec softball team I coach.

We play an 8 game regular season schedule. Of the 7 scheduled games so far, three have been postponed due to rain. Last scheduled game of the season is tomorrow. Not looking good.

Did you not read the first sentence of the post?

Obviously a kid's softball schedule has no real value compared to major problems caused by storms.

It's just been an interesting couple of months with a lot of rain. Which has me concerned about the effect of even more rain with this system.

Was being an ahole earlier. Dislike folks seemingly taking shots at the folks trying to get the word out. Douche move as was previously stated on my part, and reflected by the DV's.

Just know a lot of people work their arse off to let you know what's up and what's going on. Grated on me when I think I see them run down. If you weren't then that's on me for misinterpreting too.

Sorry again.

its a court hearing, doubt they will close the courthouse and she can't just not show up, maybe she should stay in Lafayette wednesday night also?
