About to cross 200k with no signs of slowing down. Only issue I've had has been the dreaded air injection pump.

Did you fix it or bypass it? What sucks is a stupid little snorkel would have prevented the whole thing for all those years on that motor.

My 2010 had the issue, and I just bypassed it for years. The CPU died and I was worried about spending money on that and having a bypass kit installed, so I did the whole shebang.

For the thread
145k and sold for new body style (2006)
277k sold to get crew max (2010)
178k and counting (2015)

I have a 115k on my 2014. I plan on giving it to my son when he starts driving in 4-5 years.

Had a mechanic tell a friend with a Sequoia that 250k is no problem. When the car shortage ends I'm considering Sequoia or Tundra.

Toyota quality is better than all the rest. I think by now, everyone knows this.

Yeah, my dad was a lifetime Toyota owner until he bought a brand new platinum ecoboost.

The honeymoon lasted a couple years, but he regrets it now, and the gas mileage isn't much better than a Tundra would've been.

2003 with just over, 200k. Replaced an alternator, leaking head gasket, and a couple other small things. Not getting rid of it anytime soon.

My dad is driving his third Tundra. Was an early adopter, traded in his first with suicide doors for a full size cab, then traded that in for a full size cab with a full size bed. Current one is north of 240k miles last I saw, but it wasn't his daily driver for a long time.

My 2021 has only 1800 miles on it. First Tundra for me after getting disgusted with Chevy. Hopefully the Tundra lives up to its name. I’m glad I got the last year before the major redesign.

Oddly enough the only domestic that I think can even compete with the Tundra on longevity are the 3/4 ton gas powered GM trucks.

I regularly see them with 300,000+ miles with no serious issues besides light bulbs, ball joints, brake pads, etc.

The diesels will run just as long, but they are more costly to maintain and are more likely to be worked harder than the gas trucks. Thus a more risky buy if you are going with a used model.

Will the new Tundras offer the 5.7 as an option, or will the V6 be the only offering?

No V8 for 2022.
