Cops have the authority to order a driver to step out of the vehicle for any reason. Reek was not only being an assbag, he was being illegally non-compliant.

Neither am I. But riling up cops who are pulling you over isn't a good idea and usually does not end well.
Its not reasonable behavior. Test them all you want, that's your right. I won't wring my hands or clutch my pearls over it though.

He unlocked his door and said he was getting out. The cop gave him zero room to actually get out. He nearly jumped in his lap before the door was open all the way.

It is an absolute fact that cops have been killed in situations exactly like this for under reacting. Your rights to be a piece of shite child will be viciously trampled upon, ill be alive, and I’ll let the law decide after the fact what to do with me if someone is fully concealed in their car for enough time to be pointing a bazooka at me on the other side

Wasn't told to get out first, but to put the window down. Window comes down. 5 seconds later they're reaching through the open window to remove him.

By that point it was too late and the over-zealous cops were already past their patience.
That happened when he rolled up the window, which he knew was provocative and did intentionally for that purpose.
Cops were assholes. So was he. He left with a traffic ticket and could have been on his way much sooner and without the hoopla. There are no victims here, only dumbasses all around.

Right because he was being standoffish and not cooperating so…now he’s told to get out for safety issues. He is told multiple times and doesn’t want to move until they threaten to break the window.
It’s pretty cut and dry.
