When it comes to military status, every country engages propaganda. None are going to say “it’s going bad.”
But most non-conspiracy freak people already know this and have it baked into our expectations. It’s no big code-cracking moment to understand that Ukraine is withholding information or spinning other information.
Edit: The most emphatic indication that Ukraine is doing better than expected is that Kyiv hasn’t fallen (yet), and they’ve held out long enough to get a “soft” SWIFT expulsion in the works. As economic sanctions are the only weapon the West has right now, this is about as good as Ukraine could have hoped.

Why are people saying this is shady or signs of fraud? The Ukranians were training civilians with wooden gun cut outs.
It's like that level in Call of Duty where you're training to be a soviet soldier and they don't have grenades so they give you potatoes.
Real guns are being handed out now to civilians. All men between 18 and 60 are now in the home defense force. Which is what you see training in the picture.

Y’all think it’s propaganda, it’s more like incompetence. The news is lazy now, they have to rush it out so some assistant gave them the pictures cause they thought it looked good. No one double checked it. I do not give foxnews or cnn enough credit to be smart enough to propogandize anymore.

Don’t go reading Medal of Honor citations… fended off 100 enemy soldiers and when ammo was expended, dispatched a dozen enemies in hand to hand combat, then proceeded to smash machine gun bunker using only bare fist and helmet of enemy, whose head was still in the helmet after being beheaded by brave soldier
