Meh, this might make you feel all "frick yeah!", but it's not realistic. We had a lack of targets not a lack of bombs.

I will agree that we should have approached certain governments about taking responsible for organizations in their country but Bush kinda tried that with the " with us or against us " stuff but never really followed through with it.

I'm guessing he wasn't ready to go after Saudi Arabia.

It's pretty complicated but I'm pretty sure more bombs wasn't the answer. Just my $.02

I live in the real world. And in the real world there has been only one way since the dawn of civilization to win a war. That's by breaking your enemy's will to continue fighting. We've pussy-footed around for 14 fricking years and it's got us nowhere. The only way to break their will is through overwhelming force that the enemy cannot withstand. Make them see that to continue attacking and fighting us is pointless and can only end with their complete and total destruction. Is it pretty? No. Will a shite ton of people die? Yes. But I'm sorry to break it to you but it's the only way to win a war.

All true. Political correctness claims another victim. The will to win.

Disagreeing with Cheney's warmongering that completely destabilize the Middle East and empowered Isis is hating America? Welcome to the right wing socialist state.

Look at the middle east today and you'll see what 14 years of half measures does.

If you can tell me a better way to win a war other than to break the enemy's will then I'm all ears.

Do you not remember watching the news ans seeing them rush into the streets to celebrate?

It's clear now that you're thinking emotionally and not tactically

I guess you've forgotten.

Here they're singing fricking songs praising the attacks

Sure, we could have wiped the middle east off the face of the planet and they would no longer be a threat but I hope that you would have the conscience to know that would be a despicable and disproportionate act

I don't disagree.

But, I'd like to point out that you are making the point that there was no proportional act that would have accomplished anything. So, what should we have done?

I think in 14 years since that day, we have completely forgotten that the radical muslim community still wants to kill every non muslim.

I haven't.

Unfortunately, many in the current leadership of this country have.

Which of your specific freedoms have been taken away, and how have you been adversely affected, if at all, by the taking away of these freedoms?

My privacy has been invaded. I couldn't bring milk on a plane to feed my infant daughter. My wife was groped by a TSA baboon.

and it would be an even bigger blow to all the countries where we're one of their largest, if not the largest trading partners.
