Where? Mine’s up for renewal in Feb/March. I shopped it with car insurance, but it didn’t make sense to switch at the time

Shut the frick up, dude. His insurance goes up 31% in your natural conclusion is that he's been getting (for some random reason) insanely discounted pricing for years?
I do remember threads on here saying USAA was cheaper than everyone else a while back…

When did this happen? I was unaware of that.
Looks like the same time TD lowered their standards for grammar usage to post here.

Would you like to personally insure someone's 450k home located within 10 miles of the gulf coast for $8k a year?
It would terrify me myself.

I have always had issues with homophones when typing quickly. I speak in my head, and my hands translate phonetically, apparently.

I am looking at homes in Old Mandeville
Old Mandeville is a Premium. Most people here were here before it got stupid crazy expensive.
The crazy part is the cost to build here. They can only build a handful of homes in this area, because they arent making new land.

Just got our bill. It said thanks for 45 years. Your rate is increasing 30%!

Every now and then, I'll type a common four or five letter word and it will just look wrong. Then google says it's correct...but it looks weird and wrong.
I might have some sort of dylsexia

Yeh they tried to slip in a $60 a month increase on me. When I called they said it's because the potential cost to rebuild my house was going up.
I got one other quote (Allstate) and saved $80 a month on both auto and home over USAA
The commercials acting like USAA is such a privilege are a joke.

People brag that they can sell their home for double what they paid and then bitch about insurance companies doubling the valuation and the premium.
People are so incredibly ignorant of how insurance works. The trial bar has truly succeeded in making a villain out of the law of large numbers
Insurance rates are set by actuarial science. It’s incredible how ignorant so many people are about insurance rates

Imagine if Chick-fil-A turned into Churches Chicken with Popeyes service.
USAA is kind of like that.

Ours is up almost 20%, that was the highest we have ever had.
Insurance claiming due to the big beautiful bill they are losing millions of insured patients and expecting higher costs as the amount of uninsured have to be carried by those with insurance.
