Heard this on another board about
If you heard this on the political board they were likely lying. It seems every other poster there claims to know two to three people who died from the vaccine. They are so against the vaccine they make shite like this up. It is pathetic.

Wife & I got the 2nd dose in Feb; she felt terrible for 2 days or so but I just had a sore arm. Other than that no issues.
I think everyone I know, except kids < 12, has gotten the shot and no one has mentioned any issues other than the ones they already had.

I've been "exposed" to COVID probably at least 6-8 times that I know of over that time (for work and family events) and haven't gotten
same here. Covid hit my place of work and all the unvaxxed went home sick. Vaccinated never had a symptom. Just anecdotal but it worked as advertised for me and my family.
as to the OP's question, fully vaxxed in April and never felt a thing.

My hangovers keep getting worse.

Are you really suggesting long COVID is a placebo effect?
I don't doubt that some people may have long term effects, but some of the people claiming "long COVID" have been tested and as it turns out, never even had COVID in the first place.
WSJ article on the phenomenon
quote:
The concept of long Covid has a highly unorthodox origin: online surveys produced by Body Politic, which launched in 2018 and describes itself atop its website’s homepage as “a queer feminist wellness collective merging the personal and the political.” In March 2020, the group’s co-founders created the Body Politic Covid-19 Support Group, and as part of their mission of “cultivating patient led research,” the organization coordinated a series of online surveys on persistent symptoms. Based on the results of these, Body Politic produced the first report on long Covid in May.
But many of the survey respondents who attributed their symptoms to the aftermath of a Covid-19 infection likely never had the virus in the first place. Of those who self-identified as having persistent symptoms attributed to Covid and responded to the first survey, not even a quarter had tested positive for the virus. Nearly half (47.8%) never had testing and 27.5% tested negative for Covid-19. Body Politic publicized the results of a larger, second survey in December 2020. Of the 3,762 respondents, a mere 600, or 15.9%, had tested positive for the virus at any time.

In July I had a date with a lady who was in the hospital with covid a week later. I'm pretty confident I'd have gotten it if I hadn't been vaxxed.
I worked closely with a person that had COVID the next week. I didn't get it and I haven't been vaxxed. Everyone is different and being vaxxed doesn't prevent you from getting the disease.

It sounds like you just know a bunch of people with terrible critical thinking skills, and that fail to understand the difference between causation and correlation.
I got fully vaxxed in April, and have had absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, I actually feel smarter now, considering how many people still refuse the vaccine yet still bitch about virus restrictions and so on. So I guess that counts as a side effect.

Had covid a year ago - got the vaccine a couple months ago.
Only issue is a tickle in my anus.
Seriously - after covid, my testicles are more distended than normal.
