I wouldnt count being on your parents cell phone plan as an allowance. I dont do it, but I know a ton that have that are still on their parents plan but just pay them monthly for their portion. It's cheaper for everyone involved to do that

True, but collectivism covers a wide variety of social and political groups, unrelated to communism.

"Nationalism" is collectivism, for example. Strangely enough, so is the silly idea of identifying with any group, such as generations.

I personally find millennials to be outside of stereotypes

Not unless they started families late (like mid-thirties).

Not entirely. The Baby Boom generation is usually defined as those born in the 18 year period 1946-1964, meaning that the late boomers born near the end of the period are still in our 50's.

I'm so tired of this criticism. No child asked for participation trophies; the fricking adults, aka the Boomers, gave them to the kids.

And now millennial parents are posting their little Gen Z kids participation trophies on Facebook. fricking worthless

While I agree that it is pathetic how many post-college adults aged 22-30 are receiving "help" from their parents in the form of housing, board, income, etc., the blame for all of that falls squarely on the parents.

PSA: You aren't helping your 26 year old out by letting him live at your house, cooking his meals, and paying his car note until he "gets on his feet." You're killing him.
