This.

Cops enforce, don't make the law. However, if they are arresting people for this they should be fricking fired.
fricking worrying about arrests/prosecutions for weed and weed derivative products is the biggest waste of time and resources ever. I suspect most Mississippians would not feel safer if Bubba is locked up for three years for a 1/4 oz. of weed.

You have to be careful in Mississippi. They have deemed certain supplements and other stuff to be illegal while these same things are legal in all of the other states.

I just had a CBD-infused seltzer water with my lunch.

The state police get to make the laws in Mississippi ?
When youre sitting in the back of the police car and they can write whatever they want as the crime and evidence, yeah they kind of do.

The only thing I’m seeing is LEO and Public Health Dept are warning citizens they’ve tested “CBD” from around the state, and a lot of it contains a bunch of crap, including traces of narcotics.

Don't buy the crap at the gas station. It really has taken off in Alabama, I tried the oil and it tasted like someone shite in my mouth. The teas gave me the trots something awful. But I liked the pills.

Well nothing about that is true. You'd tear your stomach to shreds if you took it at the dosages required for it to be psychoactive on a regular basis.
I doubt anyone on Earth is "addicted" to Kratom.

I did watch an hour long CNN show about CBD and they said many CBD sold products had no CBD.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is not bound by any government regulations, cannabis companies have a license to do whatever they want with these products. While there are some legitimate operations out there creating the best possible hemp-derived CBD oils, gummies and vapes, others are fly-by-night snake oil salesmen, cutting corners in the quest for the almighty dollar.

“Don’t buy the crap at the gas stations.”
I bought everything they had.

That is true for supplements in general. Non regulated

You could post a source for this announcement in your OP.
Hemp-derived CBD products (no THC) are no longer controlled substances in Louisiana. Does Mississippi distinguish between the two?

I went to a live CE last week on CBD products in Mississippi put on by the lead researcher on THC and CBD at ole miss. He said it’s all grey. Technically speaking any hemp derived product that contains in amount of CBD is illegal on a federal level since the Farm Bill passed. He said no one would ever get arrested for any type of cbd product in Mississippi. He also showed research by ole miss that showed those gas station products have all kinds of shite in them from no cbd at all to many times more than claimed to even THC.

The CNN show pretty found the same thing but they were testing products bought at CBD specialty shops

it's why I stay away from all the CBD stuff... it may work great.. but I'm subjected to random drug tests for work and don't want to pop positive for THC in case there was some in the non-regulated CBD products out there.
