My cursive used to be decent. My printed writing was excellent. Failing eyesight and lack of use on both has left cursive virtually illegible and printing isn’t what it used to be.

I only print as well. I have not used cursive since high school and that was well over 30 years ago. As someone already stated, use it or lose it. My cursive in not legible, AT ALL. I can type like hell though

I even mess that up from time to time.

I was once selected for a federal jury pool. We were required to submit a written questionnaire - I printed mine. When my turn came around to address the court the Judge interrupted me and stated “Mr. Pepitone, your handwriting surpasses everyone in this room.”

taught in school

This is a very sore subject almost 30 year later. I have never been able to write in cursive. When I was in school my teachers would deduct points in all subjects. How is cursive relevant in an essay response in History? I also got slammed for writing too small, I don't mean like so small you can't read, but small like teacher had to put on reading glasses. My print is what I consider neat and others have said the same. I never understood it, especially when after school, not a soul cared anymore.

My signature has degraded into a couple squiggly lines. At this rate it’ll just be an “X” in about 10 years.

Writing isn’t much better. I actually feared something was going wrong, but my typing is probably faster than ever

I used to slant my sentences and long words when I'd write on chalkboards or whiteboards as a school boy. I guess this means something..

My handwriting is actually getting better as I age. Not calligraphy level but sometimes I go to write things and I can’t believe it’s my own handwriting considering it used to be so bad.

I have always written with my left hand and just thought I had shitty handwriting. A few weeks ago I went to get my 45 year old check up and he informed me that I am actually right handed. Now when I write. Advertisers are wanting to hire me because of my penmanship. It is really beautiful

Can’t believe I missed out on all of those millions over the years

My penmanship used to be immaculate.

When I was very young, mine was too, even dispite being a lefty. But over the years, my handwriting is almost illegible. I blame age, or maybe I just don't care, or could it be just trying to write too fast...who knows...

Singing my name 50-100 times a day in my last job. It turned into a squiggly line. I rarely hand write anything anymore. Cards or letters are in cursive.

My first job approving invoices. Signing your name 200 times in a row will reduce it to nothing. After 40 years my employees knew what my “Mark” was. It was not decipherable as a signature.
