Worked at a boat building yard.

Lied about my age (was 15, needed to be 18) to get the job.

Was named a National Merit Semifinalist a week after I started, there was a write-up on the local paper's front page with my picture and (correct) age on it.

Boss called me in the following day and said he'd rather keep me as a hard-working, smart liar than hire another dumb and lazy 18 year-old.

Made bank there, good times. Put the LP "Running On Empty" over the PA at night when we'd work around the clock.

I did this too. The farm work was preferable. Sitting in the broiling sun, bored out of your skull except when yelling at bratty kids. Not as many hotties as you would expect. The worst part was picking up dirty diapers around the deck of the kiddie pool.

Selling Programs at LSU football games Fall of 90.
You could do this at 14 yrs old if through school fundraiser(We kept everything after $.25 /program up to $25. Then all profit). I made $30-60 a home game back then even when we SUCKED. I imagine they make a good bit more now.

First real job Blue Bayou Summer 91.

Then Jones Creek McDonalds

the tops of my legs got sooooo dark- you do not tan evenly on the chair! I loved the power of the whistle though!

Who used to own that one? Was someone at woodlawn's Parents I recall.

I know I chugged a fifth of Cisco before school the Friday before getting out for Christmas 1991 in that little bathroom.

I parked cars behind the Capitol for the Legislators while they were in session. Salary wasn't much, but the tips were awesome.

First Job- age 12; bailing and stacking hay

HS job during school year - stocking shelves

HS job during summer- mowing fairways and rough at the local golf course. 4:30AM- 12:30PM, fat dip in my mouth, watching the sunrise, then free golf when we got off... to this day, that was the best job I ever had. Wish it paid enough to make a living off of.
