Late 70’s, St Louis suburbs. Football games were over pretty early, seems like we usually went to the boat docks to party afterwards because it was close. Other Fridays were usually drive-in, arcade, parties at friends’ houses or just driving around. We used to openly party across the street from the very small town city hall/police station; we called it Busch Gardens.
On Saturday nights, regardless of what we were doing we would be at somebody’s house at 10:30 for Saturday Night Live,

Why the hell has every person answered this question like it was… what did you do on Friday nights while in high school during the fall HS football season and more specifically between September 1st and the exact moment the last state championship game concluded in the Superdome. There are 8-9 more months in a year.

At least we have learned that every dude on here was the pussy slaying, hard partying, law breaking, authority defying, Friday night lights hero who did whatever the hell he wanted and didn’t take shite from anyone, absolute king of the fricking world when they were 17.
And all the girls were trashy skanks.

When, in truth, most of the dudes on here were going to bed early on Friday nights so they could be well rested for their big chess tournament on Saturday.
