Pneumonia
me as well. Thought I had the flu. Two days of high fever (101-103 variety), on the third day I still had a fever but said frick it I need to get to work. Went to take a shower. Last thing I remember was grabbing the shower rod. Woke up on the bathroom floor. Wife takes me to doc. Chest x-ray show nothing but white in my lungs. Doc gives me antibiotics and says come back tomorrow at 8:00am for another chest x-ray. Next day feel 100% better. X-Ray Image much better - so he let me go home as opposed to the hospital. Probably took me a month to get over that stuff - couldn't work a full day for a week or two.

Got mono at age 31 or so and I was a shell of my former self for about 5 weeks. Took some heavy homeopathic shite to get normal again - probiotics, juicing the hell out of kale and carrots while fasting, etc.
Literally I would sleep about 18 hours per day until my body healed - was horrible

asked few days ago whether anyone had Really hallucinated...most replies were fever related...

mono when i was a teen, ran fever for 3 weeks. Felt like death!
Same thing happened to me. Never got really tired or anything like that but the chronic fever for over a month was absolutely miserable.

Food poisoning from Cane's my sophomore year at LSU. I thought I was going to die in my dorm room. My body was melting from both ends.

Bad oyster = 14 hours of losing it all from both exits

Just the standard both-holes-at-the-same-time stomach virus for me. Kidney stone is a close second, but that wasn't really "sickness," just the worst pain for half a day, and then I was back at work feeling normal the next day.
Anything that makes me a slave to the toilet (vomit/diarrhea) trumps all of the upper respiratory ailments I've had.

Got sick off raw oysters...thought I was going to puke and shite my brains out at the same time. My wife and I both had it.

Food poisoning. Worst thing ever

My Uvula (the thing that hangs in the back of your throat) swelled one time while I was sleeping. Woke up gagging and unable to breathe as it restricted my airway. Wife called paramedics. While waiting I discovered I could breathe but only if I stayed standing with my head hunched over...
That shite was seriously scary. Imagine waking up unable to breathe for 2 minutes.
medics brought me to the hospital, epi-pen took care of it in 30 seconds
The cause of the allergic reaction is still unknown. Haven't had another episode in 15 years...

Flu 1997. Ran fever for 10 days. The first 3 days it was hard keeping it below 102. The body aches were unbelieveable
