I can imagine it not being worth it. Barrier to entry went from too high to too low. So margins will suffer.

Drivers don't rate canceled rides. At worst if you cancel 5 minutes (I think) after you request it'll charge you $5. Maybe, I'm not sure. But you definitely don't get rated for rides you don't take.

Wonder if drivers rate lower for long hauls, example br downtown to prarieville. I do that a lot.

I'd rather a long haul. I don't do too much waiting around in the French Quarter or CBD. You get a bunch of pings for minimal ride, which only pay $3. And get caught up in the traffic congestion.
If I have a drop in FQ or CBD, I usually make the drop, turn off the app, and go to Mid City, Lake view, or Uptown before turning the app back on.

I first checked my rider rating after I had like 75 trips under my belt and it was still at 5.00.
I am at something like 160 rides now and it's 4.89. I don't know why it would be that low but whatever.

The last Uber I remember was to start the night, and the driver just closed up shop and came to the bar with us. I got one guy a job as a foreman. Knew one guy's wife when we were kids. Worked in the same department as one guy before him. I think this black chick that brings me home often has a crush on me.
I have:
Puked outside the window, but on the car
Spilled a full drink on the console
Chewed out a guy for the entire ride because he was honking the horn for me to walk down the block
Made that same guy wait 20 minutes while I was getting a drink the next time he picked me up
Made fun of one creepy arse dude because he was using his mom's van and started throwing a bunch of his magazines out the window (car was fricking stacked with magazines)
Tried to make out with this driver chick that was nasty, but I didn't know it at the time
Fallen asleep in the car
Changed routes mid-way
And plenty more I have no memories of. I guess you've gotta rob them to get below a 4
