I stand corrected. You're a little Yellowbone. Light weights.

I basically have spent my life split between north a south La, and seen plenty of fights in both areas.

Make no mistake, the toughest coonass in south La would get absolutely destroyed by a tough north La redneck. The redneck would mop the floor with the coonass and it would be over within about 30 seconds.

That is 100% fact

You need to break down the divisions better. The average redneck from NE Louisiana is tougher than the average redneck from NW Louisiana. The average plant baw from Lake Charles or the average coonass is much tougher than the average mafia wannabe from BR or Nola.

Yeah, great grandfather was wounded in the battle of Mansfield as he helped kick the army of northern aggression out of north Louisiana and back to New Orleans from which they came.

Great grandfather then walked, wounded, back home over 25 miles to get back to farming.

Everyone keeps saying the little French guys in the south, but what about the south Louisiana Germans?

Mixed in with the prairie Cajuns in Eunice are the zaunbrechers, the millers, the Wimberleys and more.

I’ll take one of the zaubrechers or millers over any north Louisiana baw.

5’9” 160lb coonass with an attitude does not equate well in a battle with a big ol redneck

We'd have to assume in the discussion that both Billy Bob and T-Boy are about the same size.

I'm taking T-Boy

I don’t know who would win in a fight but I know those Cut Off peeps are tough. I once saw a coon arse’s son get bit by a wasp so his dad grabbed the wasp and eat it . Kid stopped crying immediately. Crazy stuff.

Imagine that, a bunch of coonasses on a predominantly south Louisiana message board think the coonass would win a fight

Living in both places for about half my life in each, south Louisiana is full of Napolean complex, 4ft 1in tall rabble rousers.. north LA is full of cornbread fed farmers. I'll take NELA

I have a friend that made a point to whip as many coonasses as possible when they came up North to deer hunt.

He never came close to losing.

I grew up in South Louisiana and now live in North Louisiana. Give the coonass a 6 pack of bud heavy and a a Red Bull and that MFer will be invincible

Those Northwest Louisiana roughnecks who wrench rods and lay tubing down all day working on those workover rigs are as tough as they come. They have a hair trigger and are a lot like the coon asses. The lumberjacks from around the Springhill area and real cowboys from all over this area are generally laid back, some good ole baws. Generally it takes a lot to get them riled up, but man when that switch is flipped lookout.

North Caddo’s strength and conditioning coordinator was a couple years ahead of me at Many. He can lift a house.
