Had to go to my cousin's son 1 yo birthday party this weekend. My son is Henry (Hank) and her son is Matthew. All of the other kids had some off the wall shite for names. I think the worst was Maverick (or some terrible variation of spelling) who was a girl. I know there was a Jaxon, Brendan, Emi and Fletcher.

Caden
Aiden
Jaden
Braden

There's a ton of combinations with the same sounding name, and I get confused as to which is which at my son's baseball games

Parents who name their kids any variation of -ayden can DIAF.

Usually a stay at home mom with a let me speak to the manager hair cut and a baw who wears PFGs to a nice Outback steakhouse dinner after Brayden’s big travel ball game.

Not one of my friends has a child with those names. But I am seeing more and more because of kids school friends. There is also a Carsyn. A Gracelyn. A Taylynn. And all of the boys are travel ball ready.

One of my nieces named her son Koi. That's an idiotic name for a kid and one he'll have to deal with growing up.

Guess his nickname will be "Fish" when he gets into school. Well, it worked for Abe Vigoda on "Barney Miller" years ago.

In Tennessee...you can't go by a football field without hearing a parent yell, "Catch the ball, Neyland"...or "Let's go, Peyton...you can do it".

It's freakin' ridiculous. Why can't parents name a kid Steve, anymore. Steve's your buddy...Steve's a good guy. Neyland, Peyton, Jackson, Gavin and Tyler have had a life of everybody convincing them their shite doesn't stink...and it turns them into little assholes.

I'm old but we had girl while I was in high school that was named Polly Curtin. She guarded her middle name very closely. Her parents and my folks were friends and it slipped out one evening. Her given name - Polly Esther Curtin.

Sad

Well it stands to reason with the anti Christian sentiment of the younger generation. Chris is short for Christopher which means Christ Bearer/Bringer.

Younger generations probably lean more to Muhammed, Adolph, Lucifer, than they do Chris.
