Yet IIRC I don't believe I've ever been banned for something I posted on tPB. It's been all OT
*All but a couple were total bullshite, where a PM at most was necessary (if even that).
I did once get banned for posting a word I had been warned about (the dreaded "culture" variant) when I had honestly forgotten about the warning. That's the closest I've come to actually deserving a ban

I’m so old I remember in the 90’s places used to practically give merch away for free as a form of advertisement.

I got banned for posting a Peter Griffin gif in every thread on the first page of the poliboard during Obama's reelection. I annoyed Chicken with that little stunt. Lasted until his inauguration day.
I also got banned because of the M/TV board. Somebody was being a dick to everyone else on a GOT prediction thread before the 3rd season. So, having read the books, I decided to spoil the entire 3rd and 4th seasons of GOT for him.
Apparently the admin wasn't a reader either and got pissed that I spoiled it for him too and banned me.
That one lasted over a year.

I spoiled the most overrated book.
The second book is the best and was already covered in season 2.
ETA: when I was finally reinstated, the first thing I did was start a "Spoiler" thread on the M/TV.
