I'm fine getting government out of our lives if you are.

Lets do it. Lets vote for the smallest possible government with the fewest regulations possible.
Oh, so you're ready to vote D? Because today's republicans seem absolutely fine with infinite government power as long as it's at the state level.

Obviously not since you won't answer how the government should deal with miscarriages.

although, i am an OT poster. therefore an expert on just about any subject. i do not know how the government will 'deal with miscarriages', just as you don't know that they will.

It is a division topic and is used to further the wedge between right and left in order to do the real bad stuff behind the scenes that destroy our country.

feel free to speculate based on if's, i'm just providing the fact that there is no pro-life legislation seeking to criminalize women who suffer natural miscarriages.

I think it’s reasonable to question whether the government could satisfactorily separate natural miscarriages from abortions on a consistent basis.

based on what little i know about you, i don't doubt that. it's a fair question kork, but as i've said - it's pure speculation to suggest one thing or another will happen.

I can't believe as a country we are still arguing over this. I think this country has much bigger problems. JMO

I think most states and legislation specifies that the person performing the abortion is breaking the law rather than the mother

So the mother wouldn't be considered an accomplice? If she were just as complicit in any other murder, she would have to face charges. But for some reason this is different.

Its all planned. Look at the rulings.

Abortion will affect possibly 1% of posters on TD, and it's everyone's favorite topic. Those behind the curtain know what buttons to push.

I'm gonna go with no.

States are also gonna have a field day with rape claims.

Not at all. Are you getting an abortion and can't or something?

Maybe try to figure out what causes that.

That's one of many questions that government and law enforcement will have to answer for us.

Life begins at conception, abortion is murder. Seems pretty clear cut. If it's not that clear cut, then we have a slippery slope. Which is it?

It’s state sanctioned murder that forces people who do not agree with it to financially support it via taxes.
