There is a culture that aspires to be criminal thugs. It's the culture of many young black men and their bitch hoes baby mamas who follow them.

Great pie chart. Could we see one showing murders by race?

Boston at 39 murders for almost 5 million people in their metro area, Boise has 750k in it's metro area.

Kinda statistically insignificant difference there.

Toronto had 84 murders all of last year. This was in a city of 2.8 million people. That's a murder rate of 3 per 100k people (Salt Lake City's rate was 6 per 100k). Canada's largest city is also 50% minority so it's not exactly Mayberry.

The great migration stopped in Chicago.

Those 39 murders were only for the city of Boston (population 690k). Impressively low but not Boise low.

Because they don't have America's version of black culture. Remove this from any city in the US, the murder numbers look just fine.

Not just this, but violent crimes of all types.

Agreed.

However, the City of Boise has ~228k folks in it at present.

Because Toronto is mostly a gentrified city, and don't have nearly the number of blacks and hispanics, which are responsible for 80% of violent crime statistics in the States.

Toronto sticks a lot of poor and immigrants into old mid rise housing projects that they never demolished.

So the more dangerous elements of the city are somewhat isolated. And constantly have the threat of losing their housing over their head if they step out of line.

ETA: had to live in Toronto for almost a year. Hated it. It’s a poor man’a Chicago.

No expert here but have been to Canada 10+ times including Toronto multiple times.

My take:

Gun culture no where near the same as US and assault rifles are illegal

Feels like, right or wrong I dunno, much less mix of generational socio economically impoverished in their communities

One more "feels like", seems like they are generally better educated across Canada

It is cold as chit in the winter. Bullets don't work as well. Kidding

The minority in Toronto is nothing like the minority in most US cities.

Boise-

89.0% White, 1.5% African American, 0.7% Native American, 3.2% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 2.5% from other races, and 3.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino people of any race were 7.1% of the population.

If we searched, there is probably some statistic, somewhere, that is significant.
