Gas station I use to go to sell chicken fried turkey. Pretty damn good. i think many hood places sell boiled turkey necks in br.

Maybe the reason you don't see it in the way the OP is describing is because it just isn't in that high of demand

Bates is great. In the same vein, if you ever find yourself up in New Hampshire, Hart's Turkey Restaurant in Meredith is a fantastic joint to visit. Full on Thanksgiving menu year around.

To the OP Boston Market kinda fit the bill but they are almost extinct.

On one of the Food Network shows there was a soul food restaurant that sold a bunch of deep fried turkey butts. Seriously, people lined up to get them. On the menue it was listed as "The Last Part Over the Fence". I can't find it online, though.
