You mean an area where it's been rated #1 place to live in the country, oh the horror..

Local poll?

I actually don't know shite about Dallas, but you can find a poll that can tell you basically anywhere is the #1 place to live.

I think there was a publication posted on the OT that had Lafayette the best town in America at one point or something

My one comment to you was regarding your description of the schooling as "free."

Fine so it was definitely about semantics. Sorry for making you butthurt over the term free.

Your schools aren't free. That isn't semantics.

I can definitely see why Pecker is someone you look up to.

So Forbes, US Money, and Money magazine are jokes now??

You not agreeing doesn't make the results invalid.

When you combine price, convenience, and taste, it's pretty hard to beat a Bud's burger. I love places like Cowbell and Company Burger, but they are definitely pricy and service can be slow. Bud's gets the job done, and there's a lot of nostalgia wrapped up in it as well. Bud's is far from the highest quality burger, but it's definitely a great spot deserving of appreciation.

Sure it does when these rankings are subjective.

So crime rate, housing costs, unemployment rate and school tests scores are subjective?

Dallas may be the most bland major city in the US. It's land locked with shite weather. Terribly boring residents. And then you are talking about the burbs

Yeah the economy is great, they have every strip mall shop and chain your heart will ever need.

Ok, but that still doesn't change the statement the area is among the voted best places to live.

Different parameters, cut off is population of 350,000 residents.

Dallas has 1.3million people... Apples and Oranges.

I'd return to Louisiana but not the cities of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport.

Is a beautiful state with so much to offer.

I could reside in many of its rural communities.
