I won’t be watching, because I don’t care

This is the first one (barring the last Rams*/Patriots one) that I probably won't look at much of it, if I look at all. I barely watched any of the conference title games this year. I've simply stopped caring if the Saints aren't involved.

The “most popular artist in the world” may very well be some K-pop act neither of us have ever heard of and wouldn’t be able to understand the lyrics from. They aren’t mutually exclusive.

That K-Pop band is probably BTS. They just sold out an entire 80+ show tour in less than an hour. I would enjoy a Super Bowl performance by them. It would be much more entertaining, and definitely more wholesome, than the dress-wearing, man-kissing Puerto Rican twink they have doing it this year.

Wow. Talk about pandering. I can't imagine watching something with a white, country singer and thinking, "wow, they really get me"

the league has been focused on growing its Latino audience, inside the U.S. and in Latin America.

So in countries where soccer is huge and they don't really care about American football (I don't blame them, I don't care about rugby or cricket, which is big in other countries), they think, "hey, here is game that they don't play, don't care about and don't follow, but let's go get Bad Bunny cause that will make everyone become fans!"

Doubt they would get much fan support if they only booked acts majority of the owners were familiar with.

Neil Diamond wouod be a great half time show.

It's the Patriots vs. The Seahawks. Some gay rapper being a shill is probably the most interesting thing about the game.

Still not watching. The NFL is one step above wrestling now.

While I don't think it was that great of a choice, I also don't give a shite. I am a huge football fan.. College and NFL. I don't watch games because of who is performing at half time. The halftime show (with the people actually performing) only last 12-15 mins. If I don't like whoever is performing I don't watch.. Or just don't pay attention.

The super bowl is watched across the globe. Not every half time performer will be liked by everyone. I do think it will be a good matchup. I am pulling for NE..

the football watching market is really oversaturated. I tend to watch college moreso than pros.

Don't care, not watching, just wish half the nation also wouldn't.

It's a morals clause issue.... and yes some don't have it written in theirs.

NFL caters to the mob mentality which is only the side of derangement

Their real base is a bunch of racist white folk that need to “fall in line”

They’ll be ok because men won’t quit watching regardless

The distinction being that Bad Bunny is also incredibly popular in the U.S. and other non-Spanish speaking countries. I think it’s going to be an interesting halftime show. Definitely keeping an open mind about it.
