Would you consider Bitcoin a currency or an investment. Acts more like an investment to me though they call themselves a currency.

Any downside you see regarding the fundamentals of crypto? I know the market will do its thing and fluctuate, but do you see any structural weaknesses?
Also, do you think we’ll see consolidation to one or two cryptos or do you think we’re going to continue to see more and more cryptos popping up?

In an ideal situation, how much would you recommend someone spending to buy into bitcoin right now? $5? $50? $500? $5000?
Obviously it depends a lot on someone’s personal financial situation, but if we really wanted to see some gains, what do you recommend?

Yes, no, maybe. Some travel sites accept bitcoin directly. Even if you can't pay directly, you can always just convert to dollars.
I'll anticipate your argument and just state that maybe it isn't ready for full on currency use yet. That's ok. The crypto market is still growing. It doesn't mean there isn't value in it.
Cash is king.
Bitcoin shitcoin.

The reason i ask about gold losing its intrinsic value as a market fear hedge is that i think crypto is slowly taking that value of gold away.
Im starting to look into this hypothesis and I'd like to hear if maybe you have a different perspective on it.
