Probably. SpaceX has done more in 20 years of existence than NASA has in their entirety.

SpaceX turned 20 last month... 15 years into NASA we had several lunar landings and our own manned space station now if you had compared it to the last 40ish years of NASA, I could have possibly agreed on some levels.

He might, might land colonist on the Mars before he dies but the chances of them lasting days much less months or years is very slim
