90% of the time the names are a joke but a bombing Nor'easter aint it. It'll be as impactful as a hurricane up there.

This one is gonna be a motherfricker. Glad I'm not up that way, for sure.
I love bigass snows. Being snowed-in is a very underrated pleasure, as long as someone else does the driveway.

Just get the snowblower after it. You cant still be using a shovel in the panhandle.

Couple of sundays ago we had 22" fall at my house, neighbor and I shoveled the entire road down to the highway. It was the only way he could get out. I'm still a bit sore, hadn't shoveled that much in years.

It was powder. Could have cleaned it with a broom had it been a few inches. The volume was more of an issue.

The latest snowfall forecast. The storm is expected to intensify rapidly over the next 24 hours. The pressure is expected to fall around 35 mb by Saturday evening. Meteorologists often refer to this as explosive intensification, which is where the term "bomb cyclone" came from. LINK

That's a benchmark storm just about anywhere but the Cascades/Seirras and Japan

If you get under that 700 mb warm front (you'll have no doubt if you are) record some video.
