We absolutely cannot get oil out the ground cheaper than the Saudis. They can turn a profit at something around $8 per bbl. Break even for the cheapest US play is around $30 per bbl.

I'm not sure anything will prevent 50% of living and 100% of dead people to vote left, including gas, food and energy prices.

I never said it was a high number. I was pointing out that the rig count, currently, is close to what it was just before the pandemic and it is still going up.
