I have been on many small prop commercial planes where they have you move around to adjust the weight distribution.. had to tell pilot weight of person and luggage every time I got on a helicopter to go to a rig…and the pilot had to make an educated decision if it was last flight in for the day to adjust for diets and hidden “tools” going home….

She was 130 in 4th grade no doubt. Maybe if more of this happened the fatties would lose some weight. Should do same for ride share at airport, have a scale and if over a set weight you pay extra for lost gas mileage amd wear and tear on car.

This wouldn’t work. It’s about balancing the weight. If you load a barbell with 185 lbs and have two 25 lb plates on one side things aren’t going to go well. If the weight is evenly balanced then you can know how movements/adjustments will react.

This is a good solution. I have been weighed plenty of times to get on very small planes either in remote areas or for skydiving because the planes were small enough it wasn't just the overall weight but they made a seating chart for everyone so the weight distribution was safe. Several times there was nobody on the flight that was even close to a BMI of 30 but they still weighed everyone and everyone had an assigned seat.

When I took a helicopter ride in Hawaii, all of us had to be weighed. It affected how we were placed on board -to distribute weight evenly. They must know women lie, so they just weighed everyone.
I'm guessing by the picture, this wasn't a large commercial flight (sorry didn't read the actual link).

If they weighed everyone at airports and made it publicly viewable we’d probably be able to keep a lot of fats from flying due to shame. Win win.
