Here is a rough draft of what I might send to the Area Leader:
*****,
I wanted to reach out to you anonymously but I am a current *****. I feel it is necessary to inform you of some troubling behavior by a fellow ***** (this employee is an ***** and *****).
There was an incident at the office today (*/*/2019). During this incident employee ***** made several insensitive political comments. The discussion started with talk about meeting up after work to watch the US Women's Soccer team's game against England. I did not hear the first comment but another employee informed me that she started with the following comment:
"I am cheering for the USA to win it all simply to piss off Donald Trump and his supporters."
After that comment the conversation continued with ***** talking about the horrible conditions that immigrant children are facing down at the border. She was confronted by an employee who advised her that she can not always come to a concrete conclusion based on one news station and that many news station have their own political agenda. ***** was also confronted by another ***** who told her that Barack Obama had made a very similar comment about immigrant children when he was President. I directly heard ***** next statement which was the following comment:
"Oh I am not supposed to believe them. I guess you are Trump Jr."
The exchange was not directed at anyone in particular, but made several employees visibly uncomfortable. The other employee I talked with informed me that they had contacted Corporate HR to file an anonymous complaint. They did not want to contact you directly on this manner.
***** displayed several unacceptable behaviors during this conversation. First, she created an atmosphere of Hostile Work Environment by openly attacking Donald Trump and his supporters. As a Donald Trump supporter myself I felt as though she was saying that Donald Trump supporters are not welcomed here at *****.
Second, ***** comments were easily creating a divisive atmosphere at the office. I think you can agree that a divisive atmosphere hurts the team dynamic and overall operations. There is simply no need for these types of political comments.
Third, in its extreme ***** comments could be called a form of Workplace Harassment. Again it created an environment of not being welcome and I personally worried that if I defended myself and my views that I could be subject to retaliation from ***** when she is *****.
Being that ***** is a *****, I was very disappointed in her lack of good judgement today. Her political comments today caused me to lose some respect for ***** and question her qualifications to be *****. I expect a higher level of good judgement from ***** and I am sure you do as well.
Again to let you know this issue has already been raised to corporate HR by another employee.
I feel bad for having to bring this to your attention but I feel it is necessary. I am not looking to get ***** fired, transferred or demoted, but I do think a formal ***** or reprimand would be appropriate to let her know that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.
In addition, I think a reminder about appropriate topics in the workplace would be good for everyone. I believe an e-mail would suffice.
I trust your judgement in handing and resolving this issue.

cajunangelle don't worry, I don't work for NBCUniversal. I would never be so dumb as to actually post who my employer is. I do live in Florida but not the Orlando area.
And if anyone is trying to track me good luck. I use a VPN and I change my location every 30 minutes. Right now if you checked the tigerdroppings server would think I'm out of Belarus.

I reported this anonymously to HR and would send an anonymous e-mail to my Area Leader as well. I don't feel like I would be in any real danger.

HR cannot be trusted at any company, not just yours. Sad

I followed the Employee Handbook to the letter. The Employee Handbook specifies that you either report the issue to your direct leader, Area Leader, Local HR or Anonymously to Corporate HR if you fear retribution.

And I'm glad I'm not your employee, so we can agree on that. Would you still be willing to give any constructive criticism on the e-mail?

I worked radio for many years. Believe me, that's a biz where you will find some of the most wretched liberal scum.

Bitchface was also confronted by another brotha who told her that Barack Obama had made a very similar comment about immigrant children when he was President. I directly heard bitch's next statement which was the following comment:
"Oh I am not supposed to believe them. I guess you are Trump Jr."
The exchange was not directed at anyone in particular, but made several employees visibly uncomfortable. The other employee I talked with informed me that they had contacted Corporate HR to file an anonymous complaint. They did not want to contact you directly on this manner.
Titless displayed several unacceptable behaviors during this conversation. First, she created an atmosphere of Hostile Work Environment by openly attacking Donald Trump and his supporters. As a Donald Trump supporter myself I felt as though she was saying that Donald Trump supporters are not welcomed here at Non broadcasting corp.
Second, a million comments were easily creating a divisive atmosphere at the office. I think you can agree that a divisive atmosphere hurts the team dynamic and overall operations. There is simply no need for these types of political comments.
Third, in its extreme team comments could be called a form of Workplace Harassment. Again it created an environment of not being welcome and I personally worried that if I defended myself and my views that I could be subject to retaliation from your wife when she is pregnant.
Being that your mom is a whore, I was very disappointed in her lack of good judgement today. Her political comments today caused me to lose some respect for my penis and question her qualifications to be a stripper. I expect a higher level of good judgement from your pimp and I am sure you do as well.
Again to let you know this issue has already been raised to corporate HR by another employee.
I feel bad for having to bring this to your attention but I feel it is necessary. I am not looking to get your arse fired, transferred or demoted, but I do think a formal dance or reprimand would be appropriate to let her know that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.
In addition, I think a reminder about appropriate topics in the workplace would be good for everyone. I believe an e-mail would suffice.
