For sake of argument, let's just agree the Super Bowl halftime show started with Michael Jackson in 1993 or whenever they went to primetime acts instead of whatever goofy shite before it.
This wasn't a bad HT show. Not great. But an R+B icon of twenty years ago collaborating with a ton of early to mid 2000s R+B standouts with a little rap that was very mainstream then.
No one embarrassed themselves, it was fine for what it was, and it delivered.
Great? No.
Good? Just that.

When i can start naming the R&B singers like : Alicia Keys, ludicrous then you know your halftime is outdated. My teenage son was impressed though.

I like Usher, but this sums up my feelings about the show last night. The rolling skating was cool. The overall show was just fine.
