South. We don't shovel snow. And even if it were to snow, it would be gone by the next morning .

A very large percentage of the South, does in fact shovel snow.

I think we broke 90 degrees three times this summer in nyc

if I had to chose between the two, I would have to chose the cold...
however, temperature is not really an issue to me regardless...the humidity level is a whole lot more of a big deal to me...
as long as humidity is low, I am comfortable...when it gets high, I am miserable...

Carlsbad. I think ill be moving down into the city soon.

Yea in Michigan to get over 90 degrees it needs to be like 85 percent or worse humidity as well. So even the heat feels crappy here

Mid atlantic hot muggy summers, really cold winters = worst of the South and worst of the North combined.

Nice. One of my favorite times there was driving down the scenic route from Carlsbad into the city

It's pretty awesome out here. I have to stop every once in a while and just look around because sometimes I forget where I live. The scenery and the women btw!!!

I'm from Louisiana, and currently living in Chicago. Today's weather today royally ticked me off.
That being said, winters are made for being indoors bundled up next to a fire with a good bourbon drink. Summers are intended for enjoying all days outdoors without being miserable. Chicago summers are out of this world. Sure the winters suck, but its worth the trade off for enjoyable summer weather IMO.

Have you checked out the the alumni bar here? I was thinking about heading there for the game Saturday

I'm from the Midwest so I get a little bit of both. Just can't handle to winter sometimes. If I didn't hunt, I wouldn't live here.

My husband and I just moved here in January actually, so I haven't been yet. Think I'm going to watch at home this weekend for ULM and go to Standard next weekend when we play Mississippi State.

I just got here to Chicago this week - going to be checking out the Standard bar on Saturday - today did suck

Yeah, Wicker Park might be a little far for us to go for ULM
We will be there for Miss St for sure

South. Spent the winter in NY last year and although people said it was uncharacteristly cold it was fricking miserable.
