Agreed but easier said than done. I've been there (wife cheated), it's easy to say what you would do until it happens to you.

I don't know. I guess I'm just a little too practical about it. I don't want my kids to grow up in a broken home. I don't want to have to flip-flop holidays to see them, and I don't want to pay a frick-ton of money in child support. I also have a stepdaughter, so if I get divorced I most certainly would lose her. I don't want that to happen.

Unless my wife is doing something that puts the kids in danger, I'm probably sticking it out. Now, if I come home and there are random dudes plowing her and she has needles in her arms and between her toes while the kids are watching tv, I'm definitely kicking the bitch to the curb.

Another important question you failed to mention: how hot was the other dude

My first wife did worse to me, and I tried to work thru our issues with her. In the end, she decided she wanted to divorce, but I walked away from it with a clean conscience that I had stayed true to my wedding vows and I hold my head up high to this day because of that.

You can get mad poontang if you put this on your online dating profile.

And this is the reality.

I couldn't imagine only getting to see my kids 4 days a month. And the judge doesn't care if your wife cheated on you and try proving it to get out of spousal support, and even if you do, you're still getting dinged with child support.

So, now you've essentially lost your kids and you've gotta write the woman a sizable check every month to support your kids.

Who really wins?

No, after wife #1 I just don't think I have it in me to forget about it, I'd forgive, but it's the not being able to forget that ruins the potential for a future together

I would take her back.............to the city where said one night stand happened and leave her there to sulk in her stupid, pathetic, miserable mistake.

have some damn self control.

its easy to cheat. its harder to stay committed to someone you 'love'.

Exactly. Unless your wife is selling dope, using dope, and having random dudes come over and beat your kids, AND UNLESS YOU CAN PROVE IT, YOU'RE going to be the one fricked in the long run (and so are your kids).

My brother went through a horrible divorce. His wife cheated, and he's suffering to this day. He pays a lot of money in support, only sees his daughter twice a month, and her entire family indoctrinates his own daughter to not trust him. His ex-wife casually dates and lets guys be around his kid. frick. THAT. That's a worse hell than my "fragile feelings" being hurt.

This doesn't just happen on a whim IMO. There were likely issues beforehand that caused distance between you two. Kids in the situation makes it extremely difficult.

You could say the same after someone masturbated. Think of all the potentially weird and gross stuff she thought of, or looks at and the other people she vigororously fantasized about railing her. How is this different?

the idea of my wife cheating then having to pay her child support while only seeing my daughter a few times a month is absolutely horrifying to me

I would divorce her for being a selfish bitch. If she was on a business trip in another country and would never see the person again, what good does telling me do? Make herself feel better? She certainly wouldn't be telling me for my own well being.
