Ah, ok - I only saw 2 so it must have been the last two. Didn't realize it was three parts.
I hope somebody does an OJ like mini-series on the Jon Benet case - done correctly, would be riveting.

There's not one shred of doubt that the boy did this and the parents covered it up. Ramsey probably donated large sums to the DA and that was that.

Removal from home. Health facility for a lengthy amount of time
Parents are also subject to arrest if they are found to have not taken adequate precautions, since he had already clubbed her in the face

You think trace evidence from the guy who packaged the underwear was still on the underwear but no other family members DNA would not be present on Jonbenét?
We know John carried her, so his DNA would have been all over her. I just think they discarded the parents DNA when they used the stranger DNA to exonerate the family

Parents would be under arrest for way longer if they covered up a possible homicide.

Unless the cover up worked

Do you take your chances that even if discovered, both of you are sent away, leaving Burke alone; or rat out Burke and all 3 of you end up in trouble because the judge doesn't pity one parent, because there is no need to raise Burke?
Their whole goal was to muddy the waters. it worked

The golf club thing doesn't prove anything other than she got hit with a golf club.
A few years ago my friend received a new sand wedge as a Christmas gift. His kid got a new kitten. Later that day, he took a few very soft swings in the house. Kitten ran right into the path of the club. RIP kitten.
Things like that happen. It doesn't prove he murdered anyone.

Me too. I think the mom did it still.

Yet, none of his DNA was found on her.

I'm sure rational thinking gets thrown to the wayside in situations like this. I just have a hard time believing John, an intelligent, multi-millionaire businessman would throw everything away and possibly go to prison to cover up an accidental death. The letter and other key things point to a cover up, but my own conscience wouldn't let me cover that up like that.

Whether it was a coverup by the family or an outside job the sad reality is a young girl was killed with the rest of her life and the case will most likely never be solved.

I wouldn't do it either. At least I say that while I'm calm and not in that situation. Dealing with a hysterical wife and pumping full of adrenaline with my daughter dead, I might make that decision.
I mean, people do all kinds of crazy stupid unbelievable stuff, it wouldn't surprise me that someone would do this.

If I remember correctly, they found 6 separate DNA profiles.
But the only one that matched an adult male besides John Ramsey was this Hispanic male's DNA they found. Because that Hispanic male was the only adult male other than John's DNA that they found, the DA assumed that this person must have been the murderer.
They didn't really tell all of that in any of these documentaries.

So DNA from 4 family members were found and 2 unknown subjects?

Just for discussion purposes, say a 9 year child killed a younger sibling in a childhood argument gone wrong. What would legally happen to the 9 year old?
In Colorado, they can't prosecute anyone under the age of 10. He would likely have been put into a facility for psych treatment for a while, depending on whether it was truly an accident or intentional.

Were they brand new then?
Why wouldn't the family members dna be on it? Do they no handle her underwear at all??
