The more I learn about this case, the more I feel deeply saddened that this beautiful, young girl was denied the chance to live a full and eventful life. Saddened that she will probably never receive justice.

Beth Holloway and John Ramsey did have a fling together. He has been in Atlanta and she in Birmingham, so it's not far apart.
Don't know how long it lasted, though.

The cbs show is all i have seen on this, so I am by no means an expert. There are problems with all the explanations presented. I dont like the accident flashlight brother theory because its does not explain the being tied up. The being tied up part is really an indication of something extremely preverse going on. If the parents were in on that, they are capable of anything and everything. Maybe the brother could do that after she is unconscious but its hard to believe. The note is a real good indication they participated or were responsible for the death.

Should be able determine where the rope was from. That dna evidence from rope is key. If any family dna is on that knot, game over.

I mean it maybe terribly embarrassing and hard for the son if he killed her. But i dont think you would see tying her up fetish style as a better alternative.

The dad picked up the body and brought it upstairs. Then the mom and dad were both hugging on her etc. They contaminated the evidence right in front of the cop, perhaps intentionally.

It didn't last long - less than a year, apparently. He got remarried in 2011.

I dont see how anyone could have contaminated the rope. Should be enough material to determine secondary teansfer versus rope handler.

That is likely because during their 911 call, the parents claimed that he was asleep, but he was heard on part of the call that was recorded after the phone was put down.

Another real intetesting problem was the feces. Seems like somebody would have thought to clean that up. If they werent aware that stuff happened that was a really fd up home.

The FBI had their experts listen to the 911 call and could not detect any other voices. I will take their analysis over a five minute report on a made-for-tv investigation.
