the touch DNA present on two separate garments,
The touch DNA was found on her panties. The panties were from a new pack of underwear intended for a cousin. This fact came out in testimony. They were a larger size than Jon Benet wore, and they were "days of the week" panties, and that particular day was the only pair missing from that opened package
So if they had put on new underwear as part of the staging, then the leggings were also probably new.
The interesting thing is that in 20 years, no other DNA has ever matched. Hard to believe this killer never acted again. You have to start thinking the DNA came from a packaging employee, who may not even live in this country

They weren't they same brand - didn't come from the same factory. That's quite a coincidence for one person to work at two separate factories that incidentally got his DNA on two garmets that wound up on the body of one little girl.

he A&E one just came off as a straight-up commercial. While watching the A&E one, I was expecting John Ramsey to turn to the camera and say "I'm John Ramsey, and I support this message".

You seem to side on the "intruder" theorists.
I'll ask just one question to you:
Can you explain, with any legitimacy, the ransom note?

I stated in an earlier comment, that I cannot explain anything, nor am I attempting to. Nothing in this case makes sense - which is why we are still discussing it - in a 30 plus page thread - 20 years later.
I do believe the Boulder PD f'ed up and that tried to pin it on the Ramsey's to cover their ineptitude. As a previous poster mentioned, the Boulder PD did nothing to protect the crime scene and evidence that could have convicted or exonerated the Ramsey's could have been contaminated or destroyed.
But as for the note both the A&E documentaries stated that no handwriting analysis ever proved Patsy or John wrote the note. They said Patsy scored a 4.5 on the test with a score of 5 meaning the handwriting did not match up. But I have no explanation for its weird, rambling content.

I read an expert handwriting opinion that had her at an 8/10, 10 being definite writer

Well, a female definitely wrote the letter.
How many non-relative female kidnapper/muderers are there?

I wish I didn't feel this way but I don't care. I know - I'm an arse.

True. And a friend of the family said that the mother changed her handwriting style after the incident. Who suddenly changes their handwriting at that age??
Posted on 10/7/16 at 7:29 pm to HaveMercy
She wrote it. The boy did it.

Mom wrote and brother killed her?
Posted on 10/7/16 at 7:53 pm to Pectus
After reading in another thread about those sick 9,10, and 11 year olds that set fire to that Texas boy, coupled with knowledge that Burke , TWO years prior, hit Jon Benet with a golf club requiring stitches, I am comfortable in believing that Burke could have killed her. Even his strangling her.

couple of objective thoughts on the topic and this thread:
1. A four-story 7000 sq ft house is plenty big enough to hide a lot noise. When my baby cries, you cannot hear her upstairs.
2. Right now, I'm wearing the same clothes I had on last night. I have a couple of things to do before I take a shower, but I don't want to walk around in my underwear.
3. The ransom note: quit trying to analyze this logically. Obviously whoever did this was a sick deranged frick. The production and motive of the letter might not make sense to normal people.
4. In complete darkness, I still know it's my daughter when I pick her up. Her size, smell, breathing, etc. For example, my daughter and my niece, 3months and 2months old respectively, were sleeping in the same crib at my mothers house during a family get together. When it was time for us to go, I didn't want to turn on the lights and wake the babies. But I easily picked her out.
5. I cannot imagine a parent being cruel enough to garrote their little girl without other tip-offs to their sadistic hidden side.
