I live here, outside of the homeless, shitty pothole filled streets with no bus or turning lanes, and flooding, it’s a great city to live in.

Our gay mayor just got his arse beat by his gay BF and ho was half his age.

Yes, there’s a correlation.

Austin sucks. Every time I'm forced to visit I hate it more.

I liked how friendly people were that stood on corners concerned if my windshield was clean. Some even tried to bring me flowers.

They let retards working at the airport handle ticket/baggage check in and bartend in the sky lounge. Doesn’t make the airport any more efficient, but it sure is nice they give them jobs.

Sorry, I can't see the homeless shelter on 7th street from these pics. Or the mental hospital near 38th. Or the homeless campers on Barton Creek just outside people's backyards. Or people doing 20 in a 35.

Everything you described that you like isn't Austin. It's outside of Austin.

Everything South of Koenig down to 71/290 and bordered East and West by 130 and Mopac is a liberal infested and overcrowded shithole. The entertainment district downtown is a no-fly zone after about 9pm. It's still better than anything in Louisiana and the areas outside of the borders I outlined are very liveable except for the fact that that it is overcrowded and traffic sucks

There is a lot to do in Austin. But it’s still a shithole.

Really curious how people define a shithole. I live in Austin and it is about as nice, clean and safe as you can expect for a place that isn’t boring

Near Zilker park. Right by the baseball field in the first pic dallastiger posted.

Got the lady bird lake trail, greenbelt, barton springs, downtown and ACL all right there. It’s a really awesome place to live
