Headed out to GS in the morning...anyone have any news on the conditions of the beaches out there? Thanks for your time.

Talked to my realtor this afternoon and he told me everything is good. No apparent problems at all.
Have fun.

Some of my friends were there this weekend. No problems. Less people, which was a good thing.

lady that we are consider renting a beach house from said beaches are fine. She said they've laid out booms along the coastline just in case, can anyone confirm this?

just got back yesterday from Gulf shores. i was there from Friday to Tuesday. We stayed in gulf shores next to the state park. The beaches were great and so was the water. where we were, there were no booms or any other oil devices to be seen.
