Sharkey Co
Mathews Z7extreme
Lock on in the only dry spot
So much water. Couldn't get to options A or B without water going over boots. Likely the last weekend to hunt before it's all under water.

Tensas
Calm and quiet.
.35 Remington in some flooded palmetto
Landowners nephew is in from out of town and wanted to hunt. Put him in a good stand and he shot 15 minutes after daylight. Says it was a good 8 and it crashed just outside of plot. I haven’t seen shite and can’t see past 75 yds in this fog.
ETA: think I just heard the property owner shoot also. Guess I’m the only one left haha

I'm spoiled after being in MS last week and seeing 30+ deer over 6 hunts. Hunting in LP won't be the same the rest of the year

I’ve been skunked so far this am. My buddy sitting in a field 150 yds away has seen 6

More like a very Clark Griswald-ish Christmas light event

Same here. Cousin next door has seen 2 and me 0. He also shot a 6 Wednesday and a 9 a few weeks ago. He has a 5 yr old 80 acre cut over. Deer are all over it with zero interest my land.
