Goddammit
I somehow forgot my release in the truck and I didn’t realize it until I was settled in my climber.
Now I’m just propped up against a tree in a thicket close to the truck because it would have been too late to be worth it if I hiked all the way back to my tree.
Maybe I’ll catch a doe sneaking down this trail at dark.

Just almost had to shoot a deer in self defense. 
Watching some deer in the field 300 yds away and look over to my left and see a little button buck running towards me. I don’t think he ever knew I was there but he damn near stepped on me.

Yea that wind was crazy. Never hunted in anything like that before.

Ha. Yea it was tough to get a pretty picture of him. I was the only guy in the woods today so I had to drag him out behind the four wheeler all the way back to camp. Needless to say, he wasn’t ready for his glamour shots once I got back.

I hunted about 20 hours this morning before church. Had a doe step in my road and immediately got spooked and took off where she came from. Had a 4pt cruising yesterday.
I think it's getting right.
