I want to call out the lurkers who don't post in this thread but check it frequently (and the regulars)...
Who has bought what from stuff posted in this thread?
I posted the PSA M16A2 clone many pages ago and ended up buying it right after
I also bought 2000 rounds of 9mm reloaded brass from Ammunition Depot from this thread

I’ve probably spent $2500 on items from this thread. I say thank you for your service, my wife would not be pleased if she knew how to open the gun safe.

I keep a spreadsheet of all my guns and optics. I have the price paid and date of purchase. I have a friend that is a manager of a large gun store that my wife will call if anything happens to me. She lets my son keep anything he wants and she can sell the rest. He gets all of my NFA stuff since he is in the trust. I have 11 suppressors, 1 MG and 12 SBR’s and one SBS.I don’t have grandkids yet so that would change if I get any grandsons.
The main reason I did this is I know my wife will not want to deal with the hassle of selling it. My fear is one of my buddies shows up the day after they plant me with $10K and she empties the safe.

Really haven’t bought too many things. Main one is one that I posted. Taurus TX22 from Pametto.
Bought several other guns but not stuff from the thread.

Kel-Tec P17 back on sale for $159.99
I have one of these and it's reliable enough and more importantly super light. I put it in my shoulder strap tacklebox while pond fishing for snakes. Recommend for a cheap knock around 22

I have a RDIAS. Bought it 20 years ago for 8K really as an investment. I mainly keep it in my 300BO. Considering they sell for 25-30K now it worked out.

Grew up around guns. My dad has a spectacular collection. The house I grew up in had a gun room that had over 200 long rifles and handguns. Not really a baller but guns are my thing like cars and multiple women are other dudes.
When I was 15 back in the mid 80’s we went to the Houston gun show. I had a stainless mini14 ranch rifle that I wanted to trade for a Belgian browning safari. I toted it around by myself while my dad did his thing. I found one and worked out a deal with the dealer. Went and got my dad to do the paperwork. The guy was pretty amazed that a 15 yr old had the gun acumen.
It’s a great hobby but very expensive. I have been lucky over the years to pick up some great finds at good prices. I have also sold some shite over the years that wish I could take back….as most of us have done.
2 biggest regrets is I had an FN FS2000 that I bought from Jerry Miculek. He used it in a YT video on comparing bullpups. I had it for probably 2 years sold it because the trigger was terrible. They sell for 4-5K now.
Other is I had a NIB UZI model A. Bought it for $700 right before the 94 AWB. A doctor in BR offered me $2K for it my senior year in college. That paid for my beer drinking that year.
Sorry to derail the thread

Not a problem my friend. Good info.
I've sold a Ruger Super Blackhawk made in the 70s in in fantastic shape in 2015 for $500. I had just purchased it at a pawn shop and then found out my then wife was pregnant. Regret it
Looked much like this
Nothing like yours though.

it has grip panels and different backstraps that you can install to get to fit to your hand.

I understand that. I have the original VP9 but it just looks like a fat ball on the end of the grip. Maybe the come with the large panels default installed

And the price keeps falling for this 30 Super Carry $229.99 now
Jeez that's a solid price. I don't need that but at that price I can talk myself into it. Is there a reason the price is falling so much on this? Does it have bad reviews or just because of the caliber not being as popular?
Posted on 6/20/25 at 10:14 am to iwyLSUiwy
It just keeps going down. I guess because no wants the caliber which is completely understandable
If it hits $200, I might get one
