A 7 mag at 100 yards for a doe is absolutely insane... I previously posted about unethical hunters letting their young kids take shots that they were not ready to take which would be the glass floor of my stance. Now I have a hunter basically letting his kid nuke a doe at 100 yards and then brag about a bunch of kids shooting immature deer. Im at a loss right now...

You sound like Joy Behar or Sheila Jackson Lee with your nuking comment.

A 7mm rem mag is more than what is needed to kill a doe at 100 yards. So what? Behind the shoulder shot ruins no more meat that a 30-06 or a 6.5 cripplemoor or a 243Win. If the kid can shoot it, then it’s fine and ethical. One of my kids was shooting my 35 Whelen at 9 years old and that’s about the same recoil energy as a 7mag.

I was the same way. So I did a little research and have decided that dude has to be trolling.

This is her photo before she started transitioning I think.

I won’t disagree that 7mag was a lot for a 16 yr old, but it’s what I had.

My 10 year old son shoots my 7mag. It's a custom set up for very low recoil. My 14yr old daughter shoots 270. Also very little recoil. I wouldn't let them shoot a tikka t3 lite in 300wm. I want them to have fun.

Absolutely. There should be greater regulations on public land. I look out for the state as a whole. If we let everyone shoot a buck, regardless of age on public land.. we are going to run into an issue. If you are looking for meat, shoot a doe… which is what me and my baws do.

No, sir, you are not.

If no other words in your post destroyed your credibility, these four did.
