*Should have said, 22 ft bay boat

Tips in general?

What and where should I target?

I've fished the bridge and the pass in OB, not much else...

I've had a little success with Spanish, redfish, and snapper out of Ft. Morgan, but know next to nothing besides the Dixie Bar

Try fishing the surf anywhere from Gulf Shores to O.B.
Use a small carolina rig with a small hook baited with peeled shrimp for Whitings. Been doing this for years on our family trip during 4th of July week in Gulf Shores. Usually catch 30-40 keepers (10-14") and have a fish fry at the end of the week. The Whitings are very good to eat.

I don't fish there but I can give you some tips for how to fit in with the typical OB/Ft. Morgan fishermen:

Be sure to set up right in front of the largest condo around. Remember to act pissy when kids come out and actually want to play on the beach and in the surf. Be annoyed when people ask you if you are catching anything. Then, pack up all your stuff in a huff and move ever so slightly down the beach while loudly complaining about all these "damn kids" and other people enjoying the beach.

Long sleeve sun shirts (Salt Life is the best to show you are about that salt life) and straw hats are required even if you are on the beach before sunup. Get you one of these:

(This is all in good fun in case someone on here feels like they are reflected too much in this description. )

Following this. My wife and I are going for our anniversary in a few weeks . We have a house on the bay side in Ft Morgan . It has a pier so I’ll be fishing a good bit I’m sure. It’s very close to Jesse’s on the bay . Hoping a few reds want to eat some shrimp.

OBA sucks for inshore trout, flounder, redfish compared to the west. If your are going in the coming weeks sheepshead around pilings, oysters will be fun. Now Specks at night around dock lights is a trip in the summer.

Dixie bar in Fort Morgan is good for bull reds right now. Dauphin and MS Sound are dang good for species above but not MS/LA good.
