Looking for a cheap trolling motor for a small boat. Y’all know any local baws that rebuild and sell?

I'd try Superior Repair Services on Banks St, Lafayette

I've sold 2 on facebook market place.
I made sure to have a hot battery so I could show it worked when they came to buy.

I've popped the hood and hooked them up to my truck battery before

I bought a 55 Pound Riptide Powerdrive that would not turn off on FB Marketplace last spring for $100 and intended to use the shaft and the mount for my live scope transducer but after I tinkered with it I fixed the problem with it turning off so I decided I'd put it on my Gheenoe. Assed around and forgot about it and was on FB Marketplace a couple of months later and someone had a power drive with auto pilot that the motor was burned up. I bought it for $75 so I had $175 in both of them. I decided I would put the GPS module from the second one in the first one and it was a matter of simply cutting into the wiring harness and hooking it up....worked and works just like it should. I listed it on Market place for $750 and sold it within a few hours of listing it....and still have the mount and shaft from the second one for my livescope project if I ever get around to building it....

Check FB Marketplace.
this ain't a bad price. I've kept one of these leaning against a tree by my cousin's lake for 10 years. It still works every time I need it. Amazon
Thats a damned good price on a damned good trolling motor for a small boat....I may order one to have. I have a 40 pound watersnake but its heavy as hell...that one weighs 21 pounds.
